Questions, answered.
Is this bar chart maker really free?
Yes. There is no sign-up, no paywall, and no watermark on exported charts. The tool is fully client-side — your data never leaves your browser.
What file formats can I export?
You can download your chart as a high-resolution PNG, or as a scalable SVG. SVG keeps the chart fully editable in design tools like Figma, Illustrator, or Keynote.
Where does my data go?
Nowhere. The chart is rendered entirely in your browser using JavaScript and SVG. No data is uploaded, stored, or logged.
Can I make a horizontal bar chart?
Yes. Toggle the orientation control to switch between vertical (column-style) and horizontal bar charts. Horizontal works best when you have long category labels or many categories.
What input formats are supported?
Paste comma-separated, tab-separated, or pipe-separated values. Each line should contain a label and a number — for example: Apples, 12. Negative numbers, decimals, and thousands separators all work.
Can I use the charts commercially?
Yes. Charts you make are yours to use anywhere — reports, slides, books, websites, whatever. No attribution required.
